The Hydra will be one of the lightest poles on the market, but is precision-engineered to be tough and rigid.

The shorter length poles are constructed from glass fibre for strength and durability and, as the poles get longer, they are constructed from Carbon fibre, making for lightweight, rigid poles.

• Q. I want to use this pole off my standard garden hose. Will I be able to do this and if so what are the connection arrangements?
  A. It is possible to use this off a standard garden hose - obviously you won't get purified water like you would with a full waterfed pole system. Just let us know when you place your order online or by phone that you'd like it fitted with a Hozelock connector - this will allow it to attach to your standard garden hose.
• Q. Does the alloy hydra pole come with a hose within?
  A. I can confirm that this comes with a length of 6mm pole hose through the middle.
• Q. Can you use these poles with mains water?
  A. Thank you for your query, yes while they can be used with mains water, it would have to be fitted with the Hozelock connector.
  
  There's also no guarantee that the mains water pressure will be high enough.
  
  I'm assuming that you'd be planning to run a DI resin or RO filter in line with the pole when on mains water as this is what purifies the water making it suitable for direct cleaning?
• Q. Does this pole have an internal hose in it?
  A. Yes, I can confirm that this pole comes complete with a 6mm internal hose.
  
  This is fitted at standard with a Hozelock or high pressure brass connector and will extend about 4m out of a fully extended pole.
• Q. What are the lengths the 6 foot pole extaends and retracts to?
  A. Hi Mr Wilson,

  The 6ft waterfed pole when retracted would measure 7ft 6in and when fully extending can reach a length of 7ft 6in.
